Detox Smoothies

Summer basically consists of one BBQ after another and late night partying by the beach. It’s not until you throw on your bikini that you realize that maybe you shouldn’t have had that third –or sixth- cocktail.

Maybe it’s time to give your body a break and start detoxing. Here are some recipes for detox smoothies that will help you cleanse your body and help you increase your energy level – you know, so you can get back out there and party harder! (Just kidding! – Well… kind of)!


Berry Antioxidant Smoothie

1 cup frozen berries
1 cup water
1 tbsp. flaxseed
1 banana
¼ cup spinach
2 tsp. lemon juice


Green Smoothie:

1 cup chopped kale
1 apple
1 banana
4 celery stalks
½ squeezed lime
1 cup cut pineapple
½ cup almond milk

 OrangeBerry Smoothie

Orange berry Smoothie:

2 oranges
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup frozen raspberries
¾ cup almond milk



Super Fiber Green Smoothie:

1 cup spinach
¼ avocado
¼ cup coconut water
1 cup almond milk
1 tsp. chia seeds
½ green apple
1 scoop protein powder (optional)
