Hair Care Tips for Dry, Damaged Hair
Dry air and humidity cause our hair to become dry, rough and dull. Keep your hair looking healthy with these hair care tips for dry damaged hair:
1. Hot Oil Treaments.
Take care of your hair with a hot oil treatment. Not only will this do wonders for your hair, but for your scalp as well. Do this at least once in a week to keep your scalp moisturized and stimulated.
2. Deep Conditioning Treatments.
Use a deep conditioning hair treatment three times a week to keep your hair moisturized.
3. Avoid Heat.
Avoid blow dryers and irons as much as possible since these damage your hair. If you can’t give your hair a break, start using a heat protecting spray before you blow out your hair.
4. Trim Split Ends.
Trimming your split ends is very important since the splits will travel up the roots of your hair, making it appear even more damaged. You should trim your hair every 4-8 weeks to keep it growing healthy.
5. Hair Masks.
Use hair masks to make your hair look more smooth, silky and shiny.
6. Drink Water
Drinking plenty of water in the winter is very important to keep your body hydrated. Not only does it flush out toxins from your body, but it helps to keep your hair and skin looking healthier.
